The Jacobs Open House is always a major event on campus as it gives students, parents and school officials the opportunity to find out more about studying at Jacobs by getting a first-hand experience of our campus. Our Spring Open House was no exception. If anything, it was a much a much bigger event than we have experienced so far. This time around we invited students and their families to attend our Spring Open House. We had also invited admitted students and high school counsellors to visit our campus for the event. The Open House started off with presentations about student life on campus, academics and future prospectives. The guests were shown around our campus and enjoyed lunch in our college serveries. A mini-fair was also organised to help students decide on what major options they should take. Prospective students had the chance to interact with current students and professors who shared their experiences in their particular fields.
For our admitted students and the high school counsellors, the day did not just end there. A tour of the Bremen city was organised for them to explore, in the evening. Bremen city is within 20 minutes reach from campus and is quite accessible to students with semestertickets. After the tour, the admitted students and high school counsellors attended Spotlight, our annual talent show which marked the end of the day.
